Love the lockout feature, too

The safety lock is another GREAT feature especially if you have children or pets who may become inquisitive.

I like the lock feature, don't have to worry about anyone accidentally hurting themselves on the shredder.

Works very well, and I like the safety features on it.

This model does not have an on/off switch, so having a "lock" button to ensure you don't accidentally enable the shredding is a handy feature

But the worst feature is in that it does not take the 11 sheets that it claim it can take.

It works fine, and I appreciate the safety feature, but it is VERY loud, cannot use it when someone is sleeping, still a good value for the price.

The handle is also a nice feature for when you need to empty the basket which I lined with a plastic trash bag.
