Fellowes Powershred W11C, 11-Sheet Cross-cut Paper and Credit Card Shredder with Safety Lock

    • With a few months use, the # of papers have been reduced to 8 and still jam the machine
    • The bottom line is not to expect an inexpensive machine to perform at the level of an expensive, professional machine.
    • Overall, however, I would recommend this shredder for anyone needing a fast, reliable, personal machine.
    • excellent machine.
    • Good machine.
    • This machine still works well, except I have to turn it off, since the sticky labels gummed up the works
    • I was annoyed as I thought the machine was fragile and broke.
    • If you want something capable of effortlessly shredding 11-16 pages at once, as these cheap consumer grade machines claim to do, you'll have to drop four figures on a good commercial grade machine.
    • Poor quality machine, arrived inoperable, shredder did not start up.
    • Speed of shredder is quick and it's an efficient machine
    • The machine is also very top heavy and falls over very easily.
    • I use it every few months when I have the patience to go through the whole "jiggling" the cord, the top, the machine, turning the whole thing off and then on again" routine.
    • It finally met its demise when I tried to send TWO of those thinnish credit card receipts through the machine--the slips got stuck, jammed the gears, and permanently disabled the machine
    • If I could love a machine, it just might be this one.
    • I only stop because I get tired of shredding - NOT because this machine gives up, jams or stops from over heating
    • It appears that my problem was that they weren't sitting correctly aligned so my machine wouldn't work.
    • It will stop if the bottom is too full, but you really need to empty the container before it stops as it can jam the machine.
    • The machine shreds OK, but sounds like a thrashing machine in a cyclone.
    • The cutters on this shredder are well-machined and I hope not to give them any reason to jam.
    • I have been using this shredder for over a year, maybe two now, and it has been a great machine
    • The machine died within days after the warranty period.
    • But great machine
    • Beware this machine is all nylon gear construction and cannot be repaired,.Fellowes did offer to let me buy a reconditioned W11c for $35
    • Great machine for small office
    • It won't break the machine, as they can still be shredded, but a wad of sticky shredded paper builds up around the sensor, only allowing the machine to be run in reverse
    • This machine was inexpensive, it is much louder than my old one, but it had the silver top and that was why I purchased this particular one.
    • Wonderful machine, works great and fast!
    • Wonderful machine, works great and fast!
    • GREAT MACHINE WORTH THE MONEY.SHREDS COMPLETELY INCLUDING CHARGE CARDS AND OTHER MATERIALS.I RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCTBEATS ALL OTHERS
    • Only shreds 2-3 sheets at a time without sounding like the machine is struggling.
    • MACHINE BASED ON CUSTOMER REVIEWS.HOWEVER, ITS A VERY LOUD MACHINE
    • If you want something capable of effortlessly shredding 11-16 pages at once, as these cheap consumer grade machines claim to do, you'll have to drop four figures on a good commercial grade machine.
    • I don't know if I got a defective machine, but I can't get this shredder to work for even a minute at a time without it getting stuck
    • Love the lock control for it automatically shuts the machine to OFF,
    • Machine is even better than I thought it would be and the price is absolutely terrific
    • Despite this, the machine 'died' after 6 months
    • This shredder is about the same, size and feature-wise as the Fellowes machine that I replaced.
    • seems to be a very good machine hope it lasts a lot longer than the one i bought at office max
    • Love this machine!
    • Wow what a nice machine so far so good it is so new that I haven't emptied it yet
    • Quiet machine, easy to use, quick at shredding those papers.
    • Compact machine.
    • This is a wonderful machine!
    • Great machine
    • I often have to keep the machine in the ON position (even though it's not working), keep the paper to be shredded in the slot, and continue to lift the top up, replace, lift, replace -- over and over again, until it engages.
    • Powerful machine which will shred as you wish
    • The bottom line is not to expect an inexpensive machine to perform at the level of an expensive, professional machine.
    • Great machine.
    • Also, the noisy machine became even more noisy
    • Good sturdy machine.
    • This machine works GREAT.
    • I would be sure to oil the blades frequently, as directed, and would consider the machine to be well taken care of
    • The Fellowes Powershred works well; it is a very good machine
    • I manage to break this machine within two months
    • good machine
    • Personally, I would recommend it as a decent machine for the price
    • THANK YOU, A FINE MACHINE
    • It'll only dull the blades and over power the machine over
    • I was iffy on this but am so delighted to have this just right size, tuff muncher machine
    • It is a good machine and I am pleased with it overall.
    • Solid machine and it shreds and shreds.
    • Although, this machine sounds like a powerhouse when it shreds, I'm quite satisfied overall and would not hesitate to purchase it again.
    • For now is working good, seems to be a strong machine
    • and I was SOoL and basically stuck with the freaking machine.
    • Good machine
    • The machine works as promised; isn't too noisy; easy to pick up with the built in handle.
    • The machine looks nice, and feels solid and heavy.
    • I noticed it stop taking the paper as fast as it once did, so I took it apart.
    • Works as I expected.
    • My replacement showed up a week later and it's died as
    • Once it cools down I am thinking it
    • I forgot to pay attention to look at how long I should use before break... so after ~ 15 minutes of continuous shredding, my shredder went straight to the e-waste stack right after
