Light weight, front mounted knobs, amp modeling (great modeling through the first 8 or 9, the high gain, not so much), great built in digital effects that are actually usable

I have owned many solid state and modeling amplifiers, including a few of the Vox Valvetronix series.

But this little baby is the perfect practice and recording amp for the studio with its tube circuit and impressive modeling capabilities on channel 2

I bought this for the clean channel, not the models (which I never use, as I have a pedal board for adding dirt)

Settings 9-15 model a variety of other popular amps, including the Vox AC30 and Marshall

This amp has two footswitch controls - one for channel select (Clean or AMP models) and one for Effects on/off

It is a _hybrid_ of a solid-state digital modeling preamp with a tube power amp.

I prefer the vintage Fender Twin modeling setting while letting my pedals do the rest of the tone shaping
