Fender Super Champ X2 15-Watt 1x10-Inch Guitar Combo Amp

    • Great sounds for the money.
    • The straight tube has the great classic Fender sound that I expected, and the digital effects are very good as well
    • The sound of the clean channel (tube only) is really amazing, both with a Les Paul and with a Strato
    • For those more seasoned, I would think this little 'hybrid' amp has enough versatility and great sounds that it could easily find a nice home among much more expensive rigs in the studio
    • I'm only really scratching the surface of its potential, but it makes great Fender tone sound easy.
    • I want a good sound with out the weight
    • It's really a great sounding amp for the money.
    • It still pumps out great sound at low volume.
    • Questionable reliability though - mine developed an annoying sizzle sound that could not be cleared up with new high-quality tubes, rebiasing, power conditioner, etc.
    • Overall the sound is 5/5 to me but lack of fx loop
    • equivalents reduces tube rattle to a negligible level and slightly improves the sound.
    • But, again, the amp is plenty loud and full-sounding for its size.
    • It is simple to operate and has a classic look and sound.
    • fx the reverb and delay sound
    • All in a "grab and go" package that weighs in at only 25 lbs. and produces rich sound at modest practice volumes
    • It has a great sound.
    • Normally a delay pedal sounded good with my other SS amp, but since the super champ doesn't have an fx loop, the delay pedal sounds very unnatural
    • running them side-by-side sure is a great full sound (Important with a three piece)I feel if your going to run two small amps and mic them, 110 is probably perfect and wish I'd just spent the extra $100 and got the combo, that way I'd be able to grab and go for personal practice and loading for gigs
    • this item is so great bought it for my son and he loves it so much the sounds that come out of it are are are just fantastic
    • This little amp has the classic Fender tube sound, with a broad, punchy tone and the right amount of compression
    • I compared its clean sound with a Fender Blues Junior and I couldn't notice any difference using the same treble/bass
    • It is possible to use the Super Champ’s usb port as a recording link, though without benefit of the tube power amp and the speaker, the sound straight out of the digital preamp, even with cabinet emulation, is pretty disappointing and sounds little like the sound through the speaker.
    • Nice clean sound and has plenty of effects too.
    • Don't expect pure tube sound from this little amp
    • The same goes for the effects, with the exception of the reverb, which, though digital, is really beautiful and authentic sounding
    • The sound is very authentic as I have a 60's tube Champ in excellent working order for reference, as well as a Deville
    • Thing is, I already have a Marshall DSL5, so I didn't need another British amp, I needed clean American sound
    • I own a Ibanez wt-80 jazz amp S-State amp great sound but to heavy to lug around
    • It makes the sound much warmer and fuller, and mixed with an Ibanez ArtCore semi-hollow body, it's a great sound.
    • I previously had a Cub 10, so I knew with the Laney I'd be getting a great sounding amp
    • It will mostly be used as a in home amp, but I could see it being used in small venue where a loud sound is not needed
    • U will need to fine tailor your mids thru your guitar or a pedal.2
