Final Fantasy Chronicles: Chrono Trigger/Final Fantasy IV

    • Play is intuitive and not overly difficult.
    • As with all of the PSX ports, the game is more enjoyable if played on the original system so that you don't have to deal with loading times, but the game is also much more expensive to buy for the SNES.
    • The music is better composed than in Chrono Trigger, the characters are almost infinitely better, the battle system and interface are very easy to use, and even if you've played though it on the SNES a thousand times, unlike Chrono Trigger, this game features something new on the PSX.Yes, it's sad, that while FFIV was greatly enhanced and a totally new experience on the PSX, Chrono Trigger remains almost completely unchanged from what I can figure out.
    • On PS3 FFIV does have some pixilation errors that are mildly distracting, but so far have not disrupted game play
    • Other a weird shading on the FF IV disc while playing, they're good to go.
    • And now for the game: Chrono Trigger is one of, perhaps even *the best*, role-playing game ever made.
    • and it's been a blast playing the best classic RPG I've ever played
    • My wife and I enjoyed playing with the walkthrough and actually preferred it that way
    • I will always enjoy playing this one of a kind game and people who don't own it should!
    • FFIV is not my favorite Final Fantasy (I've played IV-IX), but it is a good game
    • otherwise, one of the best RPGs I've played.
    • This is one of the best games I have ever played
    • Both games have a rich story line and excellent game play
    • And, spoony, it only earned that second star 'cause the original is the best RPG I've played
    • IV and Trigger are some of the best games I've ever played, and I havn't even finished them yet
    • I just can't enjoy those incarnations of the game as I can't see child-like characters dealing with mature social, political, and intimate issues.
    • The load times aren't as grim as with CT
