Final Fantasy Chronicles: Chrono Trigger/Final Fantasy IV

    • Granted the graphics aren't up to the level that we are used to today, but the story and gameplay are more then enough to make up for this
    • Great graphics and excellent story lines.
    • The story is very complex and it is hard to keep up with, especially with several time periods and many things happening at once
    • it SOOO many times! The story is great (and funny!)
    • Final Fantasy IV boasted great graphics for its time and a good involving story
    • And awesome story.
    • Despite all the tedious main and sidequests, the story kept things entertaining
    • Its a pretty atrocious story, and the gameplay gets a little rigid at times.has historic value for the Final Fantasy series, but i only recommend it for hard core fans
    • The story and translation is surprisingly fresh
    • This game has one of the best story lines ever created and some characters that you can actually care about
    • Being able to see anime clips that further detail the story is a great bonus
    • As you begin to unravel the story you instantly remember pieces of it unveiled earlier and begin to make connections, something most stories in RPGs today lack as well
    • This game has an excellent story and it gave birth to Chrono Cross another game that sold
    • Both games are exceptionally story rich, with enjoyable character interactions and interesting plot lines.
    • Great story, great gameplay, and great sound design
    • its got a good story line.
    • So, before I begin this review, I would like to qualify that I'm a huge Squaresoft fan: I have played thirteen different final fantasy games, Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Vagrant Story, and Xenogears
    • The story is great, the fighting system is great, there aren't that many battles you can't avoid (thank God), and the anime cinemas by the creator of Dragon Ball, and Dragon Ball Z added to this version are awesome.
    • Both games have a rich story line and excellent game play
    • As you begin to unravel the story you instantly remember pieces of it unveiled earlier and begin to make connections, something most stories in RPGs today lack as well
    • FF4 has a great story, solid and challenging gameplay and memorable characters
    • Now for Chrono Trigger: This is a masterpiece of a game that I still haven't seen story or game play surpass since.
    • Chrono Trigger is a game of time travel where the story unravels very well as you play, learning more of Lavos, the creature from space that crashed into Earth in the Prehistoric time, then lay dormant until The Day of Lavos in the year 1999
    • After all, superior graphics cannot beat the power of a solid story line.
    • The story is fun, and the characters are great
    • they are flawless, with epic soundtracks, great stories, fun characters and timeless graphics.
    • It is a great story, and while the graphics and combat system are a bit dated, still quite enjoyable
    • The story completely follows him and it works
    • The story about time travel is very fun and interesting
    • Same great story
    • (Your choice affects the ending in a reasonable fashion)FF2 (4) was also a great story
    • Great story, good assortment of characters, side
    • Final Fantasy IV has a great story (even though it still is dealing with the crystals) and has some of the most memorable scenes in gaming ever (like the trip to the moon).
    • The story is excellent, with good character development along the way
    • The graphics didn't bug me, and the story was all right I guess, but it just didn't seem to grab me.
    • Sure, the story's a bit cliched but this game is such a joy to play that it can be forgiven
    • It does not have the side games like the newer games but has a good story line, great music, and interesting characters
    • Chrono Trigger boasts a great story with likeable characters and multiple endings.
