I am not trying to get a free device due to consumer negligence

Amazon customer service offered a discount on a replacement, but I'm not sure if I just have a defective tablet or if Fire Tablets are just poor devices

It's sad because I REALLY wanted to love this device

Warranty is only good for 3 months for a reason; by month 6 the device quits working

The device lags after a month of use

As compared to our now older Gen 4 iPad, this device runs very slow, almost to the point of wondering if apps have locked up

It is not as loud as devices I have had in the past and that makes it less useful to me.

Device does not support google play!!

How many problems can one device have?

Still, for price, it's a nice little e-reader
