We've had 5 different kindles and they've all died after a year (sometimes even a few months) because of charging issue

But on the other hand my sweetie loves the kindle and he gladly took it off my hands so that I would replace it with another brand of tablet...

I purchased this in July as a replacement to my classic Kindle that I had for 5 years.

won't hold wifi and have to keep resetting to factory-worse kindle I have bought-and you can't get any help when you try to fix it-really disappointed.

My son is using the new Kindle until he can afford a new laptop of his own

Color is nice and my 3 year old is enjoying it.

Had my HD 8 less than 3 months with very little use and losing the screen color

Love the colors and the tree scene, and it is nice to have a handy place to carry cash and credit cards when traveling.

Nothing happened to this thing to make the screen crack like that.

I have to swipe the screen between 3 to 8 times before it will finally leave

Swipe, swipe, swipe and maybe after half a dozen swipes the screen would move

One frustrating night I got so pissed i threw it down and 'CRACK' broke the screen

(After reading other recent reviews, I'm confident that Fire Tablets are just bad devices

Warranty is only good for 3 months for a reason; by month 6 the device quits working
