My best advice would be for them to review the various renovated kitchens on websites like Houzz to see that colors like taupe, gray, white (maybe even black?) would be more suitable for today's modern kitchens.
Also like that you can use it both sides and love the olive/brown colors
I choose the green and brown colors and they very nice colors, not dingy or dull.
I love the different colors on each side - helps to keep my cutting sides apart (greens/meats)

I highly reccommend this when using a ceramic blade knife, so as not to ruin the knife.
PERFECT!!!!!!i dont undarstund how my sharp knife dont leave marks on this board and in the same time this board dose not damage my knifeits like a magic
There are also no cutting marks and won't blunt the knives.
Beets did not stain the surface and knives did not cause scratch or cutting marks.
It has not scratched from knives, very durable and dependable, and so easy to clean

Love it, works great, doesn't move around while cutting, cleans well in the dishwasher
The cuts the knife leaves gets worse over time and i know this is not very sanitary due to not getting all the bacteria from the cuts, so i throw them away and but more
This is like magic, when then knife cuts the cut disappears

Nice product however, I would not recommend using for any sort of aromatics or onion, garlic etc. as it absorbs odors and they do not go away even with repeated washing.
