I asked a guitarist to tune it for me, and the cheap strings broke!

After playing with it for a couple of weeks the plastic piece that the string attaches to is already broken and can not be fixed.

I have mixed feelings about this guitar...while it seems pretty durable, the strings are pitiful

After it has been tuned a couple of times, the strings hold their keys pretty well

If you don't actually play guitar it won't sound that great because it must be tuned...strings are all very loose.

The strings were very loose and couldn't be tightened.

When attempting to tune it, a string broke.

Broken string when box was opened and upon trying to repair string snapped immediately.

Exactly what I expected.4 out of 5 starts because the strings that come the guitar are barely adequate.

so I re-strung them with good quality strings:

The strings are very close to the fretboard, which means, at least on the one we purchased, that when you press down on the 3rd fret for example, it makes a loud 'buzzing' sound, because the string is hitting a fret closer to the sound hole of the guitar.

It can be tuned somewhat, but it can not be played because the frets deaden the string when fretting a chord

The sound isn't great and string don't stay tuned but it is just a toy

First time I got and found that the strings did not retain the tension and sere loosened in 2 hours giving dumb noise

Also, the strings fall out of tune as soon as the strings are even lightly strummed.

Nice strings for a kid's instrument.

A proper string change may help it stay in tune, but I haven't had time to try

The size is good for a kid but the strings are terrible.

It has already lost a string and it's much smaller that I expected.
