    First Act FG127 Acoustic Guitar

    • I asked a guitarist to tune it for me, and the cheap strings broke!
    • After playing with it for a couple of weeks the plastic piece that the string attaches to is already broken and can not be fixed.
    • I have mixed feelings about this guitar...while it seems pretty durable, the strings are pitiful
    • The strings are awful
    • Quality frets and strings and sound
    • After it has been tuned a couple of times, the strings hold their keys pretty well
    • If you don't actually play guitar it won't sound that great because it must be tuned...strings are all very loose.
    • The strings were very loose and couldn't be tightened.
    • When attempting to tune it, a string broke.
    • Broken string when box was opened and upon trying to repair string snapped immediately.
    • I thought maybe the strings were just bad
    • The D string broke upon first tuning this guitar out of the box
    • Two of the screws that hold the strings fell apart.
    • Exactly what I expected.4 out of 5 starts because the strings that come the guitar are barely adequate.
    • so I re-strung them with good quality strings:
    • The strings are very close to the fretboard, which means, at least on the one we purchased, that when you press down on the 3rd fret for example, it makes a loud 'buzzing' sound, because the string is hitting a fret closer to the sound hole of the guitar.
    • It can be tuned somewhat, but it can not be played because the frets deaden the string when fretting a chord
    • The sound isn't great and string don't stay tuned but it is just a toy
    • First time I got and found that the strings did not retain the tension and sere loosened in 2 hours giving dumb noise
    • Cheap strings.
    • Looks great but the strings became loose and uneven immediately upon use
    • Also 3 strings broke when I tried tuning it to the Low E and
    • The strings that come with the guitar are pretty hard to tune and fall out of tune often.
    • Also, the strings fall out of tune as soon as the strings are even lightly strummed.
    • Nice strings for a kid's instrument.
    • A proper string change may help it stay in tune, but I haven't had time to try
    • New strings didn't break but the guitar doesn't hold a tune.
    • When you or the recipient breaks a string or three and it will happen, replacing the strings is relatively easy
    • The size is good for a kid but the strings are terrible.
    • It has already lost a string and it's much smaller that I expected.
    • The strings were so loose they made no noise - and they could not be tightened
    • Not sure if it had been returned to the company or not but it seemed extremely cheap(which the price is very cheap for a child's guitar, but I had read reviews and expected something not so cheap looking) the strings were really loose and can't seem to get them to tighten
