It's weird, you know how sometimes when you write with a pen the lines aren't smooth and are sort of jagged

however I've found that this fine point cartridge writes much better and smoother -- like a medium point but with a fine line

My only minor complaint, this is just my preference, is that I wish it would write a little bit finer and write smoother lines.

I noticed after awhile that lines would appear uneven when writing and show clumps occasionally.

Compared to the Fisher medium point, this requires less pressure to write and has a finer line.

As for me, I've come to realize that I need a consistent fine line more than I need to write upside-down in extreme temperatures

This refill writes a wonderfully fine line every time no matter what the surface.

Both cartridges have smooth and uniform lines.

Clean lines and no mess.

Still a very nice pen, glad I waited till my medium cartridge ran dry, if I'd bought this just to get the finer line thickness I'd say it was a waste.

I prefer fine line pens.

They NEVER fail to give you a clear and solid line
