Fitbit Surge Fitness Superwatch, Black, Small (US Version)

    • Like earlier models, the band on the Surge causes a rash on my wrist.
    • My biggest problem though is that the band is horrible.
    • The bands broke off, and the plastic underneath the bands is cracked and crumbling
    • These bands were a joke
    • I was extremely satisfied with my choice until the band started to warp and bubble around the display after only about 3 months
    • The band is not as strong as it should be, poor manufacturing
    • Twice the band broke.
    • The band tends to fall apart eventually
    • Save your $200+ dollars and go get a fitness watch that is more durable and will actually let you change the band if it cracks/separates
    • I love the Fitbit app and I loved the ease of my Fitbit surge, however the band starts cracking, peels back and eventually falls off entirely
    • Also if you train hard on a regular basis, expect the band to acquire an odor that will not go away
    • The bands are breaking and Fitbit won't stand behind their product
    • The bands are absolute junk
    • However, the band is the worst
    • Fairly large in size and after 5 1/2 months of wear the band is failing
    • Although the watch works as indicated, the band falls apart within a few months of purchase
    • My band broke in 7 months, so I reached out to FitBit and they sent me a refurbished unit
    • The band fell apart
    • I would buy this watch again, if band was made more secure.
    • Band for this has completely fell apart within a few months of me wearing it
    • The band became a problem and caused rashes
    • Good Watch, bad band!
    • I still think they should make their devices so that the most vulnerable components (battery and band) can be easily replaced by the customer.
    • Band broke within 3 months
    • I have bought two in the last year and both bands have came loose
    • sorry no band replacement.
    • The wrist band is not easy to attach to your wrist
    • The amount of money I spent on this watch the band should not be so cheap I will purchase a different watch when this finally breaks.
    • Get one of the devices that have replaceable bands instead.
    • Band fails on everyone I’ve bought.
    • I have a black band as well and didn’t have any problems with it.
    • My band didn't break - but it would have in a few weeks.
    • It's a great fitness watch, the only problem is, if you have it for any length of time the band starts to crack or separates all together from the watch.
    • Good Watch, bad band!
    • Band soon breaks and it's not replaceable
    • Some bands were worse than others when it came to the amount of bubbling
    • The band stinks, I mean literally and figuratively!
    • After a few months, the band warps really bad in the back
    • CAD$329.95 and the wrist band is junk???
    • Although the watch works as indicated, the band falls apart within a few months of purchase
    • Band falls apart
    • The band is comfortable
    • Also, the band is failing.
    • Great fitness watch, but the band will eventually fall off like mine did
    • The band is falling apart on my watch yet again
    • You can't change the wristband, so if the band becomes damaged or breaks you may have to contact the company for a new one.
    • The band on these aren't very reliable.
    • The irreplaceable band is not meant for strong workouts where you sweat a lot
    • The band is the first issue, cracks easily, isn't designed for any abuse.
    • Here we are 6 months later and the band is bubbling AGAIN and the watch is refusing to
    • The watch itself is nice, but the band is terrible
    • After about 10 months, the band started to fail at the connection with the face of the watch.
    • After less than 1 year of ownership the band began deteriorating badly with bubbles where it was detaching from it's connection the watch; after talking to other Surge owners I found out band issues are common but that Fitbit has a wonderful return policy that will replace this
    • It's a shame to have to use a strong rubber band to hold this Surge together.
    • (Thanks, China!).In Summary, other than the device having a case of hydrophobia and the bands being mediocre, it's a great watch.
    • Like earlier models, the band on the Surge causes a rash on my wrist.
    • Lasted me just over a year before the band came loose from the watch display, and it's not a do it yourself repair, it's screwed and glued on
    • The band also has broken twice
    • New band is great!Make sure to move the antenna from the old band.
    • Band has broke every
    • Band is durable and comfortable for wearing 24/7.
    • Three months later the band broke again
    • After about 1.5 years the band started to break and the screen quit working properly
    • I only had this one for a couple of months before the band started to fall apart to the point both sides came off -- this is all in a time span of 7 months.
    • Band bubbled and fell apart on both my wife's and mine
    • This time, not only did the band start to bubble after about 7-8 months, but the screens wouldn't swipe any longer and I would have to hard reset the watch just to be able to track my workouts
    • However, the band has a design flaw, which causes it to need replaced every few months
    • your arm will smell, you need to clean the band everyday
    • Within 6 months, the band on the new watch started breaking also.
    • The band is much better on the Surge.
    • Band broke, screen
    • My first band broke 6 months in...then a year later, my second one broke, the band and the watch
    • Every single band broke the exact same way, it gets stress cracks and stretches near the screws, separates from the unit, and eventually snaps from the screws
    • water resistant but cannot wear it in the shower or swim with it... display is dim and small which makes it hard to read while running/biking... lastly the band is not replaceable and have already had to exchange it once be cause the band began to separate.... if Fitbit wants to be anything more than an everyday fitness tracker and appeal to athletes then a redesign should be considered.
    • Band broke twice, and it is now hard to get the charge cable to make a constant connection through the whole charge cycle.
    • The most difficult band to switch out of all fitbits I have owned
    • FitBit says the band is not replaceable but, if you have the patience and moderate dexterity, you can buy a replacement band on eBay or, you can wrap electrical tape around it
    • Buy one with a replaceable band.
    • The FitBit Surge works as it should
