    • My Surge had some battery life issues, however I reported it to Fitbit customer service and received a brand new Surge as a replacement
    • Essentially I could get another surge for $150, which I do not want as 2 fell apart so quickly, or I could downgrade to an inferior model

    • I've had a variety of fitness devices and the Surge is by far my favorite.
    • The Surge was difficult to set up but the worst part is it only tracks exercise of any kind intermittently and, since the whole reason I wear a tracker is to track my exercise, I am back to wearing my Alta

    • My current Surge is the 2nd one I have had in the last 1.5 yearsThe band is now falling apart like the first one (first one which eventually broke)Customer service on the first surge was good (replaced for free)Now they won't do anything about this same defect (warranty does not extend to replacement)The functions of the Surge are nice, but I wouldn't recommend since they fall apart
    • Can't live without it, that being said, 2nd Surge giving me trouble...
    • It's attractive for a sport watch, but compared with my running partners' iWatches and Garmins, the Surge was consistently inconsistent-- both in distance measured and pace
