I have used various clear mats over the years in my home office

It cost more than the really cheap mats but well worth it but not near as expensive as some other mats I considered that were at least 50% more in cost than this one.

This mat is highly recommended for anyone with Berber carpet.

I would recommend this to anyone needing a good mat for your carpet.

Other cheaper mats that I've used in the past would be cracking already.

That being said, for carpets it's an excellent mat, strong and a great size

There is no odor of any kind (other mats have this initially from what I have read) just be careful when you unpack it, it immediately snaps into it's flat shape when you cut the tape

These floortex mats are excellent and they have a badass warranty; we currently have 15 of these in our 4 offices.

Very clear, nice mat but developed permanent, opaque spots from ethyl chloride (a common pre-injection skin refrigerant) overspray drips
