For all I know, the camera is great, but this is yet another brain-dead product that requires that you either have a Windows machine (maybe a Mac would work as well), or requires you to download a phone app and register

We emailed the company for techical support and in the same breath they guarantee a 1 year replacement warranty for defective products and then double back saying that we can keep the (broken) product and offer to put in an order for a new camera with a so called "significant discount" that ends up being 10% off
