Based on my own experience, this is really a good camera, it has all the features I need: easy to set up; high resolution no matter during day or night time; really quiet motor when using pan/tilt; easy to monitor the baby remotely, and also, the price is great with regard to product quality

The Human detection is a neat feature but if you are pointing the camera to an open area such as a front yard, it will not detect most of the people walking up to your door

You will not find a more feature rich product for the money

Don't get me wrong, there are some very good features when it works.

True, but if you can set up an FTP server or have access to one, you can have your recordings go to a cloud device of your choosing and pay nothing, a feature not available on RING, ARLO, NEST, etc

When I got this one I was confused as to why this one didn't have that feature and thought it was a problem.

We bought the foscam a week ago, it arrived promptly and worked exactly as we expected

It either turns on prematurely and no button to shut it off manually or it turns on as intended but focuses on a bright surface lowering the exposure of everything which makes viewing at night as good as not even having
