*can* likely power them, the experience will be MUCH better if you use a portable DAC/amp

The right recording, of decent quality/bitrate, will lead to a perfectly refined bass experience

Because of this lack of sub-bass, I can't say these headphones are entirely accurate in bass reproduction, but I have to say that listening to drum solos on these things is one of the most enjoyable experiences I've had

The sound is very bass heavy - so if you like a more balanced listening experience, these are not for you

I use them with AudioQuest DragonFly V1.2 on my Mac... just an awesome experience!

To my ears, and open headphone collection, they are unique, and I am enjoying the early experience
