FUGOO Tough - Portable, Waterproof, Rugged Bluetooth Wireless Go Anywhere Speaker

    • The UE Boom, while louder, is also larger, not fully waterproof (while I have no intention of submerging my belongings on a regular basis, I do get caught in the rain a lot), and had a tendency to be knocked over and roll around
    • The UE Boom seems to lack mids, and completely lack bass on some more bass-heavy songs.
    • The sound is so much brighter then the Boom - the boom made acoustic guitar sound dull and very muffled, and although the bass on the boom seemed to have more thump, overall the Fugoo sounds more natural
    • After downloading and updating software get almost as loud as UE Boom, but is probably due to the waterproofing of the speakers
    • After the Fugoo failed so miserably at meeting my expectations, I purchased the UE Boom.
    • Yes, the Boom is louder, but at moderate volume the Fugoo is the clear winner in terms of sound quality
    • Speaker is fairly loud, but not as loud as the ue boom or bose sound link 2.0, but I think it has a better sound
    • Probably a slight advantage in durability, not that the Boom is not durable
    • That been said I have only ever used a cheaper mini boom product, which is not really comparable.
    • Disappointed in sound quality, I purchased a UE Boom to compare and it won on sound hands down, in volume and quality (I found the fugoo a bit tinny and lacking bass)
    • Disappointed in sound quality, I purchased a UE Boom to compare and it won on sound hands down, in volume and quality (I found the fugoo a bit tinny and lacking bass)
    • I just purchased the fugoo and although it's not quite as loud as the boom, the battery delivers
    • Speaker is fairly loud, but not as loud as the ue boom or bose sound link 2.0, but I think it has a better sound
    • Not as loud as the UE Boom even with the loud setting
    • (the ue boom is just tacky and sounds tinny)
    • If loudness is important, I would recommend the UE Boom 2 - though it sounds weak at low volumes, it really performed when you cranked it
    • My UE Boom technically lacked some low-frequency bass, but the lower mids and highs were plenty strong, smooth and full
    • In a dollar-for-dollar comparison, the UE Boom vs the Fugoo Tough, the UE Boom wins hands down!
    • Just remember this is a true engineered speaker not a boom box ,if you are looking for extra loud booming bass with muddled midrange , look elsewhere.
    • So for $151 I have an ultra rugged portable bluetooth speaker with solar charging panel and a G boom lunchbox that will blow you away!
    • I bought this one and the UE Boom 2 to compare and while this one is good, the UE Boom 2 is louder and provides slightly better sound.
    • Like the Fugoo, the UE Boom paired instantly with my iPod and Droid without any issue or delay.
    • The Fugoo is better for work (in an office where one don't want to disturb colleagues too much) and the Boom for home and play
    • If you want space-filling volume and a useful mobile app and stereo pairing, then the Boom is the best or its kind
    • UE Boom wins for size.https://www.dropbox.com/s/6ihz2t88hs18uxf/2014-12-20%2013.27.49.jpg?dl=0https://www.dropbox.com/s/cj7x23w8zcpkr3w/2014-12-20%2013.28.31.jpg?dl=0BATTERY:The UE Boom claims 15hr battery life, but that doesn't seem likely given the tiny (by comparison) battery.
    • Loud enough to fill a room with music, better than a ue boom in my opinion, battery life is incredible plus the added bonus of being fully waterproof
    • Loud enough to fill a room with music, better than a ue boom in my opinion, battery life is incredible plus the added bonus of being fully waterproof
    • Don't expect a super loud bass heavy boom
    • The UE Boom got a little bit louder than the Sharkk (it was noticeable, but not huge), while distorting less.
    • It does not sound as good as the UE Boom and questionable if it sounds better than my girlfriend's Boom mini
    • It may not be as loud as the UE Boom 2 but details are so much better
    • Loudness:Is it as loud as a UE Boom with max volume
    • There is a big bass hump between 60 to 90Hz so R&B, dance and similar music sound good but not natural on it
    • I tried this with fully charged Nude Super M (which has a muffled sound on audible books compared to ue boom, fugoo and eve soundlink mini)
