iX 500 is the best scanner I have ever used, simple to install, simple to use but just as important best customer service I have ever usedin my life fast to connect not like Apple, HP with the sneak your way to a human, they answer the phone and they are excited to help you and show you the advantages

The biggest shortcoming with this is that while it can be used over WiFi the setup is clunky at best (requiring connection by USB to initially set up) and it isn't really "networkable" in that it is connected to ONLY ONE COMPUTER at a time

It's great for documents and receipts too, and I do use it for that, but my focus was its use as a photo scanner and I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great photo scanner.
