I've spent more money on wall mounts at Best Buy that were more difficult to install

This is as good or better than my name brand mount I bought for my living room.

We bought this instead of the one that as nearly $100 for best buy

The first product did not come with any screws and the screws I used and th edifficulity mounting using the other product resulted in me losing grip on the very expensive TV, which ended up in the trash

For the low price of the TV mount, I was surprised that the instructions were written well, and in multiple languages

The instructions are very easy to follow and details out multiple ways to mount the tv/monitor

but this broke my TV which was the only entertainment I have at home to survive.

This makes the installation much more difficult and makes me feel less confident to hang my second tv on the wall.

there is no assembly of the mount necessary, just mount the wall plate, attach the brackets and hang the TV, it really is that simple.
