The bass doesn't bleed over into the mids at all making for a much cleaner bass and less "muddy" or "boomy" then lower end sound cards

There is zero electrical noise, and bass is punchy at medium volumes (although not intense, and not adjustable through either hardware or software EQ), and the sound is clean

I got this to decode optical audio from my TV as well as to power my Sennheiser HD600 and Etymotic 4 series headphones
