The better idea is to just get a GPS collar and e-collar separately if you may ever decide to enter these types of competitions (this may also be a better idea so that you're not out an entire system if one happens to malfunction).But this review is on the product as it is sold, and for that I've liked it quite a bit.

Good idea, not executed very well

I appreciate the idea, but that's gonna be the source of a lot of frustrated hunters when that little bugger goes missing when you're in the middle of nowhere
