The SkyCaddie SG5 that I still own and used for 2-3 years works well and shows slightly more hole detail, but the Garmin is probably a little more user friendly overall by allowing you to choose your target spot you wish to hit to, and also does not require the annual renewal fees to view courses on the device

Really helps shave strokes off my game because there is no more guess work as to what club to pull.

Love this thing so far as it had my course in Korea pre-loaded and now that I am back in the US, I will start golfing even more...if my clubs get here soon.
