Went to a couple of auto accessory stores, a radio installer familiar with the camera said it most likely would not give a clear picture given the steel between the camera and transmitter, or the distance between the two if transmitter were to be mounted somewhere else

Great picture

The picture is good but not crisp, but that's what you'd expect from a GPS screen that is not meant to be a video monitor and a camera that uses Bluetooth.

Patience is the key to success when touting this system, mine is all in the tail gate with a great picture from the transmitter.

Excellent picture, but make sure you don't mount in such a way as to get too much backlighting from license plate lights

Its a good enough picture though that I would rather have it over a second screen of some sort since I already had the GPS installed, and mounted on the dash

Clear Picture

I installed it on a 2005 Volvo V70 and it produces a nice picture, very comparable to built in backup cameras I have used.

It certainly made parking my 33ft class C RV much easier than just listening to my family for directions

Easy t o connect, image clear enough for its purpose.
