The watch does not have an automatic activity detection such as free smartphone apps like Google Fit
-
Versatile app
-
The App sucks, so beware if that is a big part of buying it.
-
But can’t kill these apps.
-
The app is a pleasure to use and is actually the best I have found to date, although the competitor for this market also has a great app, but this is a killer app.
-
If you like messing with the different available connected apps when using a smart watch, this is the watch to have
-
Not too many apps available for this watch yet, but once they develop them it will only make the watch that more versatile
-
Hopefully this gets resolved with time but for now, most of the available apps are useless.
-
Its a shame that my smart phone with a free app is much more accurate than my 350 dollar GPS watch.
-
Precision gps and great apps.
-
Love the downloadable apps too.
-
The app kinda sucks.
-
There are more and more apps available every month for this watch
-
Many things like installing an app require to plug the device to the computer, which should be done wirelessly, as it's connected over wi-fi anyway
-
However, the app supporting the device on mobile is much better than previous iterations.
-
…-The app is horrible
-
This is not a fancy apple watch with useless apps
-
The app needs work, it should reflect the online site more
-
It's apps are limited, but what it does, it does well
-
The app is the worst in the market, i changed from sunnto to garmin and i miss the app, but the watch it self is very beautiful and works great for all the diferent workouts.
-
Sure it looks like a kickass watch and something a serious athlete would wear, but most of these features can be accomplished by mobile app/ cheap pedometer or a bike computer, of course with various credibility and reliability in question, but still
-
I love this watch and the iphone app
-
the app could improve but the device is pretty good.customer service when contact did not help me that much.still learning to use the device but overall happy
-
Connect IQ allows for cool app and watch faces.
-
It's not a speakerphone fancy watch with beautiful screen apps for socializing
-
the mobile app, phone, computer connection is great.
-
The app could use some improvement but it is definitely just as useful and easy to use as the Fitbit app.
-
So how come I only gave it 4 stars out of 5?-The App sucks
-
Very comprehensive to use, and all the different apps are great
-
The apps available from Garmin and other third parties are really nice and there's more features than anyone could ever use.
-
But could be just a tool feeding a better app.
-
The built in apps do not include a good general weight-lifting app that does not involve tracking each step in the workout (glaring oversight
-
Very user friendly and syncs easily with my iPhone, the app is really intuitive too
-
I’d like an app to notify of when you’ve reached the layline, etc
-
It works with the Facebook, Twitter apps
-
It's customizable with the ability to add apps like a smart watch and has Bluetooth (with notifications)
-
The app is great and you can see your trips on satellite view
-
The stupid Garmin Connect app got updated and basically destroyed all smart functionality (by giving you a notification ever half a second)
-
it will automatically activate and lock in location with chosen activity (biking, hiking);3- pretty good selection of activities (among all obvious like run, swim, bike, golf, one also gets SUP- stand up paddle board, row indoor and out, climb, hike, ski, snowboard, which I find super cool).4- appealing app, especially extended features (active calories minutes ect), and fact that it will work on all platforms (windows, mac, android).^!!
-
I train a lot in an indoor pool and this app is a huge disappointment
-
thank you very much as always
-
I wear it throughout the day as well as on my long trail runs.
-
The form factor is also one that I feel comfortable using at the office as well as on the running trails especially with the sapphire screen.
-
There are plenty of watch faces to download from (but they do not anywhere as colorful as in the images that you on internet) and lot of customization available
-
Do not expect this thing to function as well as and apple watch.
-
I took it for a test ride and as soon as the activity was finished and saved it was immediately viewable on the stats on my phone as well as on my Garmin
