Battery life is great, features are awesome (I run and bike)

I love all the features it has.

I'm willing to sacrifice some of the "smart" features like watching YouTube videos or changing your home thermostat or whatever.

but it lacks basic and documented features like last lap HR, lap ascent and descent calculations are broken, the connectivity with your smartphone is a crapshoot even if you have one of the supported phones, it will measure 10% short on single track tree covered trails, the tracks are filtered beyond recognition to mitigate GPS noise and overall it is a half baked

The watch is full of gimmicky features such as VO2max estimation, race predictors, personal records, 3D distance measurement, alpine skiing app, etc

The watch has some great features and I hope further updates will make them work properly

I'm amazed at how accurate the indoor run feature is

You need to connect to GPS to set the time, which is an odd and annoying "feature", esp given you generally can't get a GPS signal indoors.

Plus, this is a fitness watch, but compared to that fruity brand, which certainly has some cool features, this thing doesn't have to be constantly recharged.

I decided to switch to the Fenix in part because I like the way it looks, in part because I was growing tired of the limited battery life of the Blaze and in part because I liked the expanded features of the Fenix.

, I like the design and features of the watch, for the price it should have lasted longer and the customer service is unacceptably poor for a product in this price range.

I dont use enough features to justify the price I paid for it.

Built in HR is a nice feature and does not make the watch uncomfortable to wear even though it needs to fit more snug than a normal watch might.

I didn't really get the watch for the smart watch features (talking to my iphone), but after a little use as a smart watch, I was amazed with how well it worked.

(neat features w/ GPS), although it did take him some getting used to it with his swing

I have found the sleep tracking to be one of the most beneficial features of the watch as it helps to know how much sleep I need every night in order to make a full recovery from my exercises.

The sunset and sunrise features are especially helpful in making sure I get to camp in enough

While the watch is packed with awesome features (step-counter, mileage tracker for walking/ hiking, swimming lap counter, biking and skiing utilities) - the deal-breaker for me happened a few months in when my wrist developed a rash to the electrodes on the backside of the watch.

You can pair the watch with your phone using bluetooth to get some cool features like weather, emails, messages, etc... as well as configure watch faces other people have created

For the price paid ($400 on sale) I would recommend this to ANYONE that wants a smart watch with amazing features

Great loooking, easy to read and has some great features.

It's a cool watch and has some great features but the screen is milky when you use the backlight and not nearly as sharp as pictures I've seen

For most people, the features would be about equivalent (Fenix has a lot more, but unless you go beyond running, swimming, cycling and hiking, the features are mostly irrelevant)

The watch and the supporting software are lacking some features that I am very surprised aren't included in a $500 plus package

In my case however, that feature is irrelevant because I'm not a runner or biker, but use the watch with my other cross training activities.

It has cool features such as when the sun will rise and set but it isn't worth $637

While the 5 has a lot of great features and the latest technology, none of it was needed for my use and the 3 was less than half the price of the 5.

One of the neatest features on the watch for those who use the Garmin VIRB camera as well, is the capabilities of broadcasting your wrist heart rate from the fēnix onto the VIRB camera

It has all the great features of a Garmin, holds a charge forever, and looks very sleek for office-wear.

I wear it throughout the day as well as on my long trail runs.

The form factor is also one that I feel comfortable using at the office as well as on the running trails especially with the sapphire screen.

There are plenty of watch faces to download from (but they do not anywhere as colorful as in the images that you on internet) and lot of customization available

Do not expect this thing to function as well as and apple watch.

I took it for a test ride and as soon as the activity was finished and saved it was immediately viewable on the stats on my phone as well as on my Garmin
