Garmin fēnix 3 HR - Gray (Certified Refurbished)

    • The GPS is good and getting better, the options are plentiful and the ability to customize the watch is pretty cool too
    • GPS works
    • Limitations:GPS is 2D.
    • Very frustrating experience.3- GPS location
    • Of course the GPS vs. magnetic compasses will be useful here for taking into account for current offset
    • There is currently a bug with software version 3.6 where the watch will lose GPS after an activity is paused
    • When hiking it is very sporadic and never seems to have a good gps signal and always adds miles to my hikes.
    • Great functional GPS smart watch
    • The GPS is fast
    • The GPS in a six mile run that I would do would be over a tenth of a mile long, and the pace would be spotty at best to the point that I didn't feel the most comfortable going off it
    • GPS seems very accurate, no problems there.
    • With the Fenix 2 I would use the time when I was waiting for a GPS fix to warm up a little, but with the Fenix 3 HR there is typically hardly any wait and this is when using it in the same places I would use the Fenix 2 for running
    • and I enjoy it, keeps things simple, works seamlessly with my iphone, and now I can keep a close track of my activities and keep me motivated to go beyond my regular activities, I love the fact that it does not have touch screen, and the battery last much more that the other smart devices, the GPS is pretty accurate, I used in USA and in Colombia and works perfectly
    • The GPS is great.
    • The GPS works when you start an activity but it won't work at any other time, so you can't use the altimeter
    • GPS (5/5):-Reasonably accurate for a watch, does its job properly.24/7 Heart rate Sensor (2/5):-Poor, just poor, and I'm not talking about the optical sensor limitation
    • The GPS is great and acquires satellites quickly.
    • The GPS works when you start an activity but it won't work at any other time, so you can't use the altimeter
    • And I love the back track using GPS.
    • Good GPS (quick lock on, good accuracy
    • Fast GPS, lots of features.
    • Usually less than 30 seconds and way faster than any other GPS watch/fitness tracker I've used before-At least for my purposes, the GPS is much more accurate on this than the Fitbit Surge solution.
    • Based on all their crappy GPS devices with their ancient interfaces, and how much better phones are at it, I always thought Garmin was a relic and behind the times
    • and I like the features to track workouts like runs and biking, and the GPS feature to let me know how far I have run or biked.
    • The best GPS watch right now
    • Perfect...but I still wish it had a better gps
    • GPS for Trail Running activity still not as accurate/consistent as 310XT; would prefer Steps to be SEPARATE FROM TIMED ACTIVITIES (with option to calculate as add-on), and HR was more constant (for 24/7) before the 3.0 update.
    • GPS seems very accurate, no problems there.
    • I do tend to run most often in heavily-treed areas; the GPS seems more accurate when I'm out in the open
    • The watch is what i wanted, fitness tracker, sleep tracker, smart watch, gps and lots more
    • Very accurate GPS (enable GLONASS) and HR functions
    • Overall, it's a nice looking watch and has a bunch of useful features (heart rate, GPS, Map, lap, weather, music control, show notification, etc.) that I need to explore
    • The Fenix 3HR is a fantastic training tool, with super accurate GPS, altimeter and barometer.
    • For the sake of saying a few nice things:* The GPS seems to work
    • In the end, if you want a classy GPS watch you can wear anywhere, with HR and ways to track everything in your active life, get it
    • The GPS is accurate, and the compass and temperature sensors seem so as well.
    • Long story short - this watch has an unacceptably crappy GPS functionality given the price point
    • But if you want a really good GPS watch that can record your runs Standalone, without a cell phone, with some Smartwatch functionality, I think this is a great Buy!Update.
    • ** The GOOD:1- nice built, with potential to last and outlast...the dial has sapphire glass so theoretically no need to buy films and protectors, as it should be scratch resistant (the buckle however and housing, will pick up nicks and dings like a magnet);2- Glonass, in my opinion one of the best if not the best GPS systems, picks up signal really fast and pretty precise even on trails (i live in city but bike in
    • Also the GPS connection it really fast
    • GPS IS INACCURATE
    • Hands down the best GPS watch on the market.
    • The positives:-The GPS syncs up quickly.
    • By far the best GPS watch I have owned.
    • the clock is perfect , first time smart watch for me ...plus side : good gps , nice battery life ...
    • Excellent GPS
    • Easily the best GPS watch I've ever own.
    • but it does have a GPS which I need and the Apple Watch lacks.
    • Liked the better GPS function and also started wearing it as my daily watch.
    • Excellent GPS watch for hardcore runners!!
    • The GPS seems very accurate and it's easy to set up screens for displaying information during activities.
    • I would recommend this watch to anyone who is looking for the leading edge of fitness/GPS/Smart watch technology, but also MUST have the most robust GPS fitness metrics Garmin offers...this watch has not disappointed me
    • The HR monitor function is great, and the GPS is accurate enough.
    • First the GPS works well if you are not in a big city
    • The downfall is actually the GPS and pace calculator
    • The gps is very accurate as well as the altimeter and compass
    • (neat features w/ GPS), although it did take him some getting used to it with his swing
    • And I am happy that I have a GPS smart watch that I can wear every day.
    • The only watches that have survived me are the G-Shock watches because I am very hard on them.
    • S/W updates are awful.
