This mount has a sort of "bean-bagish" weighted base that does an amazing job of holding the device on the dashboard

I very carefully made sure my particular Garmin model was on the list of compatible devices but the device's ball didn't fit the GPS's socket...too loose so it just flopped.

Who wants to stick your GPS device on the windshield and have it fall off and break your device?

Didn’t like try to secure the device to the windshield
