Reviews around weight (5.00 of 5)

  • Friction mount is well made and has decent weight and base is very grippy and is not sticky at all.
  • The overall craftsmanship is excellent, the base has a good weight to it, and I expect zero issues in the future.
  • It has a heavy enough weight to it that it stays put on dash with no problem.

Reviews around job (5.00 of 5)

  • The friction mount may not be perfect but it does a very good job for a difficult mount situation.
  • Since there is no suction cup bottom, this mount does a better job in being flexibke with where I place it on the dashboard.
  • This Garmin Portable Friction Mount is doing a great job in securing my LM61 very well on the dash board
  • Does a good job, sturdy, and conforms nicely to dash contours
  • This mount has a sort of "bean-bagish" weighted base that does an amazing job of holding the device on the dashboard

Reviews around system (5.00 of 5)

  • I really love the locking system with push button release it has as well
  • Keeps your system stable and easy to see without distracting your driving.
  • Stays where it's put and the mount fitted the ball mount on the GPS Garmin mount perfectly to make for a much better system.

Reviews around work (4.66 of 5)

  • works great have had one for four years still works great
  • this holder i got work's like a charm i would buy it again if needed
  • The four wings can bend up to allow it to fit into odd corners - works great in the center display portion of my Subaru Foreseter, allowing me to see the information screen behind.
  • This works great for my GPS and I love that I don't have to try to attach it to a window
  • This dashboard navigator mount works excellent for my 5" Garmin.

Reviews around quality (4.10 of 5)

  • The materials are good quality and it seems to be very durable but it is useless to me.
  • You can tell taking it out of the box that this is a nice, quality piece of equipment for your navigation device
  • I ordered this two years ago and LOVE it! very good quality, sturdy, reliable.
  • The materials and construction are of good quality and I was able to mount my Garman product without any trouble
  • Thankfully so far My DRIVE 61 GARMIN thus far appears to be undamaged as it fell when this product failed landing on the floorboard of the commercial truck

Reviews around device (3.91 of 5)

  • I very carefully made sure my particular Garmin model was on the list of compatible devices but the device's ball didn't fit the GPS's socket...too loose so it just flopped.
  • Who wants to stick your GPS device on the windshield and have it fall off and break your device?
  • This is a great GPS device, it's dependable and worth the price
  • This mount has a sort of "bean-bagish" weighted base that does an amazing job of holding the device on the dashboard
  • This new device is sticky

Reviews around thing (3.35 of 5)

  • This thing slides around my dash like a slab of butter in a hot cast iron skillet.
  • I cant recommend this thing enough!
  • This mount is so much better, I can see it better, adjust it better....and the best thing I can hid it on the floor without disconnecting it....more security that way
  • The most important thing is that it works at holding the GPS on the dash while driving
  • Save your money and find another holder for your GPS, this is not worth the risk when driving and the stupid thing slides across your dash

  • This mount holds my large 7-inch Garmin GPS very, very well; also, it can be moved and placed anywhere on the dash very easily
  • Do not buy this product unless you want your gps to fall off the dash and break
  • This Garmin mount works very well holding my gps in place
  • My GPS broke down so it's been great to hold my facemasks for now🤭

Reviews around grip (1.61 of 5)

  • The old suction mount would lose its grip after a while, and especially with large temperature changes (Heater in the winter etc).
  • Great grip and my gps stays in place!
  • Friction fit on top of the dash is fine, and you can mold the base a little bit for a better grip.
  • The frustrating part was having the Garmin fall from the windshield at the most inopportune times once the suction cups lost their grip
  • The problem with windshield mounts today and 20 yrs ago is if they have any dust or dirt on the rubber suction area they will lose their suction grip

Reviews around time (1.54 of 5)

  • Also the ball mount is loose that the screen droops down to the point you have a hard time seeing it
  • Good product delivered as described on time good price
  • The old pad I used was a circular pad that had a hard time forming around my dashboard, and the rubber/suede bottom has worn out.
  • The frustrating part was having the Garmin fall from the windshield at the most inopportune times once the suction cups lost their grip
  • Eventually, and not a long time, they lose their suction and your GPS will come crashing down on your dashboard

Reviews around suction (1.16 of 5)

  • It's much better than a suction cup that falls off the window when the glass is too hot
  • Eventually, and not a long time, they lose their suction and your GPS will come crashing down on your dashboard
  • Much better than those suction cups that fall off your windshield
  • I didn’t want a sticky suction cup on either mpg dashboard or my windshield and this friction mount is the perfect compromise.
  • Works 10x better than window suction

  • T he only thing I find that it will move around on bumpy roads
