Although I let it set for 24 hours, it came off on the first hot day
It's loosened twice since I got it months ago and those were on really hot days, so no complaints here.
Adhesive is strong and still holding to my dash through the heat and cooler days so far.
This product will work as the original was discontinued
I used a binder clip to more securely attach (fancily rig) the suction cup to the disk...but the disk and adhesive itself would come unglued every two weeks or on a ridiculously hot day, (whichever came first), leading to frequent GPS downward tumbles to the floor and unfortunate battle scratches to the unit and my car interior
Fits perfectly, the suction cup sticks like glue to it, and the 3M tape holds it rock solid to my car.
I had my new 2055LMT on here for 2 weeks and it never fell off the dash and the suction cup never fell off the mount like all my Garmin ones.
I will say that the suction cup holds extremely well to the top surface, so if you have a hard, flat, smooth surface you need to stick this to, it might work ok.

Stuck to dashboard very well and working like it should
If you need another dashboard mount for your Garmin GPS because you switched vehicles, etc., this works perfect and is much cheaper than purchasing direct from Garmin.
The GPS suction mount works very well on this disk's smooth surface.

So the actual smooth surface of the disk is a bit smaller than the actual width of the disk.

this thing hold it very sturdy and my dash cam is not moving or dropping at all
I tried every 2 sided sticky thing in the shop.
I live in San Antonio and was a little concerned that this summer's heat might present a problem with this sticking, but I certainly wasn't expecting this thing to start falling off so soon.

To apply the adhesive disk to the car’s dashboard, simply remove the paper backing from the back of the plastic 3M dash mount disc, then place and press down on a previously cleaned surface
(Allow 24 hours for the adhesive to cure before securing the base of the mounting pedestal to the center of the disk for best results.) While this disk is meant to be a semi-permanent solution, the disk can be removed from the dash by applying a generous amount of rubbing alcohol or similar adhesive removal product to the area with a cotton swab
Let the liquid saturate the area, then work a long piece of dental floss under the disk to cut through the adhesive until the disk is removed
