If you are playing music from phone via bluetooth, you may want to pause it or else Alexa will get confused

Giving up car radio or satellite radio for GPS or Alexa is unacceptable

As long as your carrier's network isn't congested and you have adequate signal strength, Alexa and all the associated skills work quickly and responsively, though the single microphone built in could stand to have an upgrade to a proper microphone array for better noise rejection, as Alexa can be rather hard of hearing if there's too much road noise or your music is too loud

As a portable Alexa, it's great, but you could just as easily put an Echo Dot in the car and pair it with your smartphone's mobile hotspot

I won't be using Garmin Speak for directions in the city (where I live) any more, it's now just a portable Alexa, because the directions it gives are worse than useless in a densely packed city
