• Reviews around app (3.95 of 5)

Garmin vivofit 2 Activity Tracker, Black, OS

    • Paired with the great app and also pairs with MyFitnessPal (calorie and macro tracker) it really raises your awareness and motivation.
    • Now I know.....perfect, works great, great apps, waterproof, one year battery, big nice display....and great price.
    • If Garmin can improve its app and more of my circle of friends/family would invest in a Garmin, I'd probably give them another go
    • If you don't mind having a fitness tracker that doesn't track fitness because there is no app or computer records of your exercise than you might like this
    • Pros- waterproof, durable, great battery life, seems accurate enough for tracking, app seems great at long-term tracking, customization is easyCons- syncing problems make it unreliable and therefore useless for my purposes
    • I find the app to be slightly less user friendly than the Fitbit app and sometimes it takes a while to sync
    • App not very intuitive.
    • It is comfortable to wear, the app is easy to use and the my fitness pal is super handy!
    • The app is easy to use also
    • And yes, the app looks hideous and incrediby non-intuitive to use!
    • I really love the app and the website and how they keep me connected with my activity and help make sure I am aware of my goals
    • The mobile app seems easy to use so far, even though it may be over complicated for just the average user, you can customize it so that you can see what info you want on the home screen
    • It counts my steps, tracks my sleep, helps me set achievable goals, waterproof, super easy to sync, and has an attractive app that's easy to read
    • Fine when it actually works - never able to get it to sync with Garmin's own app!
    • The app works well and activities can be edited after the fact to put the type
    • The only reason I gave it four instead of five is because 1) it doesn't have a silent alarm like the Fitbit charge and 2) the app can be a little confusing and hard to navigate
    • Don't like the app as well as Jawbone
    • The app, however, is complete garbage
    • The app is terrible.
    • It also has a nice app (Garmin Connect) and it communicates with the MyFitnessPal
    • It's cheaper than the Fitbit, the app is user friendly and there are dozens of different color bands for it
    • App works great with her phone.(Android)
    • Secondly, the Garmin connect app itself is not the greatest, and I feel like they kind of dropped the ball there
    • Very true and accurate on counting my steps and I love the app
    • I was looking for a pedometer-like something that would be easy to set up, with a great interface app...that was simple to wear every day
    • One year battery life, you have no idea you are going to like this feature until you wear one that you have to charge it once every 3-4-5 days like the Polar Loop.- Waterproof, this is one of the key features I look for in a fitness tracker, I can't understand how Fitbit still doesn't make a fitness tracker thas fully waterproof.- Confortable, this band is really light and very confortable to wear 24/7.- Good app, Garmin Connect can tell you a whole bunch of information in your mobile phone (iOS and Andorid) and it is very pleasent to navigate.- Backlight
    • I never take mine off because it is water resistant and so light and comfortable! My one complaint is that I often use the Vivofit activity timer to track my runs, and it consistently underestimates the distance traveled (when compared to the mileage I get when I use another running app at the same time, like Nike+)
    • The app is not hard to use and syncs automatically
    • App is helpful
    • The mobile app is great too.
    • Great app
    • The app is very rich and there is a learning curve in order to take advantage of the full functionality, but with that done I find that the information is presented in a most useful fashion and the you can highly customize the device settings.
    • The app for his phone is great, he hasn't had any issues and he likes all of the information he can see
    • OK, people rip the app
    • The app you use with the Garmin is not nearly as functional and user friendly as the Fitbit app
    • The app is really easy to use and I love the ability to connect with friends and start competitions
    • - The app is very easy to use, I just wish there was a sensitivity feature to it
    • The app is very helpful
    • Great tracker, the Garmin app (free) makes it worth it.
    • The app is very good.
    • the app is enlightening if you wish to monitor or adjust your habits for maximum health.
    • I like the app for my phone and it syncs with the fitness
    • The only problem is the app for my phone, I have been using it for about 2 months, and I have lost 10 pounds, but the app has to be removed and re-installed every so often.
    • I was worried I wouldn't like the app and that it might not sync for me as some reviewers mentioned.
    • The reason I give it 4/5 stars is that the app could be better, and an alarm option would be fantastic
    • My only criticism is that the app is not terribly user-friendly, but then again maybe I'm not terribly app-friendly
    • It doesn't have to be recharged, the step goal is progressive, and the app is easy to use
    • Cons: the sync function does suck; the app isn't as good as the FitBit app; the social networking capabilities are nil; and its not as compatibable with as many other apps as the FitBit
    • App is fantastic but syncing can be wierd sometimes with my Galaxy S7, turning bluetooth off and back on seems to work most times.
    • These things are too expensive to not have proper app support
    • The mobile app is prettier with the update and but the online Garmin Connect has some very nice features if you dig a bit
    • The downsides: it's a bit bigger than the Jawbone UP (which don't have a display), and the app needs some work (the Jawbone UP app and the Fitbit apps are far superior, in my opinion)
    • App is super easy to navigate.
    • I like the smartphone app with its snapshot of the daily activities and ease of use and syncing
    • The app was also very intuitive and well designed
    • I love the app
    • I hope Garmin will improve the app.
    • App is pretty good too
    • Great product with helpful apps that interact with others (like Fitness Pal) to provide a good picture of activity.
    • either the app is no good or the device is no good .......in the pic
    • I love my vivofit 2 as it has a background
    • I've only had this device for a little while, but everything works as it should.
    • I think it's accurate, and it is easy to sync with my mobile devises as well as by home computer.
    • This really bums me out as I was looking for a watch alternative to my Fitbit and the features looked great -- but I'm just too unhappy with the performance and am going to have to return it.
    • This is very user friendly through the day as well as on the desk top.
