The price is fantastic, the fact that is has a watch battery that lasts a year, and comes with two different sized bands (no having to guess before you purchase!) sealed the deal for me

After reading many reviews knocking the performance of the product and/or the Garmin Connect app, I liked the price and features enough to take a chance on a refurbished unit

I was originally planning to purchase an Apple watch on sale and had a Series 1 in an online cart for a very good price but just couldn't convince myself that the expense was justified.

I decided on the Garmin not only the great price but also because it uses a watch battery

I paid the full price and was NOT given a free/reduced price item for my review

I bought my Vivofit 2 used from a friend a year and a half ago for $40, which is a much more realistic price-point for the features you get here
