Sometimes the heart rate is not accurate

the band is soft and stretchy, so wearing it tight enough to get reliable (or at least consistent) heart rate monitoring doesn't feel uncomfortable at all

So, water-resistant, good heart rate accuracy, oh - notifications work pretty, not really obtrusive, and Garmin Connect links with Apple Healthkit and MyFitnessPal (big bonus).
