He's been on the phone with Garmin support three times, for over an hour per call.

Small issue with the Connect app not displaying correctly on my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 smartphone and Garmin support doesn't respond to my emails otherwise I would give 5 stars.

Well after a few false started and the assist of a Garmin Support person we got up and running

I worked with Garmin support (not a bad, but not the best experience) and eventually a software update to the Garmin Connect issue was released to fix this issue.

To their credit, Garmin support is excellent, and Dad and I are cool with glitches in a new product.

Overall good, but needs some work before I could recommend purchase by others.

Just like everyone else is worked great for two weeks and then it stopped syncing reinstalled everything

I like the way the app incrementally increases my step goal day by day.

But the size is good, it's light (so you can sleep with it), and the tracking of steps and inactivity is very well done

The problem for the "classic" black is that it is really hard to see the black hands, especially in dim light.

I realize this watch is the most accurate tracker I have ever owned, and I have a bunch!

I know several people, though, who are very much into personal fitness and can easily see them finding this device useful as it bridges the gap between a robust, ruggedly designed fitness tracker and something you could wear to a business meeting or formal function

While this may be a good activity tracker, it was simply too big for my wife's wrist

This is a really neat fitness tracker and I am very happy with it

I have had it for 4 days and the idle tracker started "bleeding" like a pen for lack of a better description

I am a die hard Garmin fan.

It seemed like Garmin had to make something to compete with Withings and test the market to see if there was demand

Decided to buy the vivomove because now I love Garmin and liked the idea of a watch that helps you stay active

Stay away until and unless Garmin decides to fully support this device.

Pedometers are easy step-counters, but you have to calculate your stride with them, and they don't translate to other activities

So it could count steps just fine but not transfer them to Garmin Connect

They also loose steps completely on some days

Very nice looking watch, tracks steps well, do not like how it does not illuminate at night

I really like the design and anticipated using the functions with Garmin Connect

I would have given this watch 5 stars, but think the design is lacking in 2 areas.

The app that pairs with it is not well designed or intuitive to use

I contacted Garmin and they sent me a 3rd watch that was refurbished and did NOT keep accurate time

Syncing the first time around was tricky with both--with no data to sync it won't pick anything up right away, so go take a walk and then try.

I would give it 5 starts, but sometimes the time actually is not accurate, but 90% of the time it is.

I like checking the time if I wake up a night, and cannot do it with this watch.

The included silicone strap doesn't vent as

Failing to properly sync will mean that all of your step data will be lost as the sync dumps the data from the watch and if it does not dump it successfully to the Garmin app, it will dump it into the ether -- lost and gone forever

It's pretty pointless to try to track/count steps with something that is always erasing data.

Unfortunately, there's an issue with it not syncing and also with it erasing data.

The only thing I would change is a backlight or glow in the dark hands for night

My only complaint is that the black hands are sometimes difficult to see on the black face.
