I have a pricey Samsung 4K TV that came with a disastrous remote (this is a known issue for many Samsung TVs).I used the little handbook that came with this remote to program it to my TV & streamer, and it really saved me a lot of frustration and anger over that crappy Samsung remote

you've gotta pinch it, which is just a goofy way to manipulate a TV remote

The only downside to my understanding is that it only holds your codes for your devices for 10 minutes if the batteries die completely, but keep some batteries around, and don't worry about missing remotes or having to juggle up to four of them instead of this great product.

After trying two different remotes that were supposed to be actual brand matching remotes that didn't work and cost three times what this one did we bought this

Remotes different style buttons have a small learning curve but a great remote

We lost the remote for our Samsung TV and it got pretty old having to get up and turn it on or turn down the volume (it's 2017!)

The button layout is a little awkward if you have big hands like me but other than that, it has been a great remote

I wouldn't recommend this remote if you have other devices you want to control with it.

Because I was cutting the cord (going to Roku streaming devices) from cable, and I wanted to make the switch from AT&T uVerse easy for me and my wife (we were spoiled by the supplied universal remote provided by AT&T), I purchased this remote to operate our TV's and Home Theater/Blu-Ray units.
