The colors are great with 1080p resolution, the display color is almost as good as my retina display

Pictures are crisps and the colors are accurate.

It has good colors and brightness, and also had good viewing angles

The IPS display has wide viewing angles and accurate colors well suited for creative work

I decided to keep this one even though it was more expensive, it has better colors and the smaller screen size feels better for something I am going to throw in my backpack and take on the road

I do web/mobile development, so having decently accurate colors is important (these were heavily red tinted by any standards).After that I almost gave up, except I chanced upon this random company GeChic (not the best name) that for some reason is the *only* company that makes portable monitors that connect via HDMI/Display port
