Very slow heat up will not stay at a consistent hot temp slow cooking

I hated cleaning the older models, but I would trade this for my previous unit just for the better cooking capabilities

The grill regulates its temperature evenly across the entire cooking surface so if your cooking one hamburger or 5 there are no worries as they are all being cooked at the exact same temperature

I am glad I bought this Grill due to the fact that all the grease drains off as the food cooks....

The instructions were followed to the letter and the same dangerous results each time-yet-when Amazon so kindly replaced it with a CUISINART #GR-4, GRIDDLER it not only handled the load without a hitch, it did it in less time, beautiful even cooking and searing with no gray meat (like the Foreman and 6-7 min to cook a 1" steak not the 25 minutes on the Foreman (provided it doesn't overheat and burn out in the middle leaving you to cook it on the stove) with in my opinion awful results

Have to cook a lot longer and food cooked on it doesn't taste as well as it did on the original models.

These grills are great, cook great, look great and are very convenient.

The same goes for cooking thin chicken breasts and tenders.

But it continues to give off a weird smell while cooking

Several times now, when cooking, I have lifted up the top only to have the "removable" part come crashing off

When you grill a "real" steak or chops the back (rear) cooks great while the front just gets touched and receives none of the searing most of us love

This grille cost no more than I paid many years ago and is the best grille for cooking delicate fish steaks and fillets.

It makes cooking very fast and easy, the cleanup is a breeze with the removable grids,which by the way I find very easy to remove and replace

I purchased my first "George Foreman Lean Mean Fat Reducing Grilling Machine" over 10 years ago, and have cooked 3 to 4 meals a week on it

If you put 2 pieces of meat on the grill and they are slightly uneven one cooks and the other does not cook as well

The main problem is the inability of the grill to keep the plates up to temperature which leads to poor cooking results

I didn't realize how lousy a cooking job it did until I tried the Griddler.
