Also new for the latest models are the removable griddle plates, which simplifies cleaning (very easy cleanup, by the way)
Because the grill plates are removable, the cleanup is very easy
I love grilling as much as the next guy, but if you're an apartment dweller such as myself and can't just go fire up the charcoal or the gas grill, this is an efficient and low mess, low maintenance alternative that will get your steak done in under 10 minutes, and easy cleanup afterwards
The high temperature cooks all your food really fast, and easy cleanup
So I called customer service for Foreman grills and their solution was to e-mail the sheet(worthless
One thing I would suggest, however, unless you're grilling something delicate like tuna steaks, ignore the variable temperature control.
I would be confident closing my head in between the two pans to demonstrate how absolutely useless this thing is
I am really suprised George Foreman would allow his name on such a piece of junk!I was able to return the grill for a full refund, but I really miss the thing
Best thing about this is the removable grill plates and increased cooking area.
The second thing I like is the size, it is much larger than our old grill.
My hope is this will help you make an informed decision of where to spend your hard earned money and save you much wasted time and stress and address what I consider to be some real safety issues and if you read the other reviews you will see I am NOT the only one
Love my George Forman’s especially with the easy to use removable plates
This issue, combined with other safety issues made in other reviews make me wonder how on earth this item ever made it onto the market
UNSAFE.I rarely take time/have time to write reviews however, this item was an exception because of some very serious safety issues
I love Amazon, you can find products that you won`t find easily in other websites

Cook a full grill of bacon and see what I mean.-alarm sounds right at the frequency that is most often lost to hearing, especially in older men.-plastic case arrived broken
Look great on the kitchen counter as well as it matches my stainless steel appliances.
Of course, the case was cracked.
I've been using it for 2 years now and it cooks as well as when I first tried it.
When we got it, it had taken forever to heat up and wouldn't get nearly as hot as our old one we got in 2007 as a wedding gift.(different style) and now we just tried using it and it barely gets warm
I plug it in and let it heat up to 425 and it takes forever to cook our food, it's quicker to take out the frying pan to cook
Look great on the kitchen counter as well as it matches my stainless steel appliances.
I didn't know what temperature setting to use, the pamphlet didn't provide cooking temps or duration (in the end I took it off the grill and put in a frying pan to finish cooking).
Donated it to a local shelter and went back to using a frying pan

The handles on the removable plates are a bit loose and wobbly and a screw or two may have fallen out (stripped) but the latches still work to hold them onto the heating surfaces
Look great on the kitchen counter as well as it matches my stainless steel appliances.
The handles finally broke off and I had to replace it.
I've been using it for 2 years now and it cooks as well as when I first tried it.
Looking at others reviews and the positive reviews might change if they were given a large amount of meat to cook
The reviews are great, it has an automatic shutoff on the timer, and it can be used as either a closed contact grill or the top can be laid out flat to provide twice the grilling capacity
(George does do this!)Unfortunately, high-end George has negative reviews from me and others
Not really sure of the negative reviews except human error.
I am quite surprised at the great reviews for this grill
I still smelled that weird smell when the plates heated up
I've been using it for 2 years now and it cooks as well as when I first tried it.
As noted previously, it doesn’t get hot enough to act as a grill (i.e., no searing) and, despite its size, heats only towards the center making it usable less than its size would suggest
I like that the grill plates come out, but poor heating is the price to pay for easier cleaning, I will take the old style hands down
