comes back on as well as when it goes back off and still occasionally manage to overcook things, though I'm getting better at determining how long various things need to remain in the grill.

I you only need to feed your self, it is a great counter top appliance.
If you’re a single person or only cooking for a couple people, if you’re on a tight budget, if you’re in a small space with limited room in the kitchen, this appliance is super
Great little appliance to have especially if you are cooking for 1-2 people.
I love the George Foreman grills but this one did not come with the plastic scraper or even the grease collector!
I love the George Foreman grill I just wish I bought the one with the removable plates.
I clean my other Foreman Grill while it’s still hot and would like to do the same with this one.
It's a very good little grill, a foreman grill is perfect for any kitchen
My two earlier Foreman grills became unusable after a time; the last one I tossed had the upper and lower surfaces cemented together by a burger impossible to dislodge
I wanted to have a smaller one than my large grill (that I have so much trouble getting the removable top plate back on.)
Wish the plates came out to clean but it’s a perfect size when cooking for one
The top plate is usually alway falling out during cooking, though it was secured prior to being pluggedin.
I purchased this smaller grill because I'm usually just grilling for one and my older and larger Forman grill was beginning to show its age; also I disliked the effort required to clean the larger heating plates
It's perfectly paired with the microwave for quick and easy meals: Grab a slab 'o meat from the freezer and defrost it in the microwave; place it in the George Foreman Grill, and in minutes the meat is cooked, ready to be placed on your plate, hot and juicy and ready to eat with maybe microwaved side dishes and or a fresh salad.
After use I wipe it with a paper towel then a wet sponge no soap, no spatter mess on the stove from pan frying, no flipping and a perfectly cooked burger fresh or frozen in minutes.
Previous reviewer's suggestion to lessen browning by plugging in and unplugging during cooking works well for me

I hate babysitting food in a skillet, and don't do any fancy meat cooking.

I dislike the fact that there is no temperature
Does not cook a big chicken breast as good as when I flatten it
The case is not as solid as on my older Salton type design
