I bought this primarily for grilling hot dogs as I like the grilled taste.

It makes meat and veggies taste amazing, like it was made on an outdoor grill

But we have to keep clean the BBQ waste during cooking, otherwise, meat is easy to be overcooked

It browns meat surprisingly well and is extremely easy to clean

The grill heated up quite fast and before long we were grilling enough meat and veggies for four

(Be aware dark meat requires a higher internal temp of 180 degrees for safe consumption.)

It is a nice large cooking area, so I can cook several pieces at one time

But it's also nice to have a significant cooking space -- you can fit multiple steaks or chicken breasts on it.

The crenulated spatula that comes with it is a nice bonus to clear cooked on juices from the grooves between the raised grill ridges.

But it's better than pan cooking things that should be grilled if that makes sense

My only criticism is that the edge away from the power plug does not heat to the same temp as the end near the plug.

We learned from other reviews that the drip pan will peel off from moisture and heat over time, so from the beginning, we lined the drip pan with aluminum foil

We use it to cook korean style BBQ and the oil/drip pan is great for catching the grease, and the included grease scraper fits perfectly into the grooves to remove the grease into the drip pan

It would do great toasted cheese sandwiches or tuna melts, reubens - anything you can cook in a fry pan, basically

I ordered the Grill to cook steaks and chops that exceed space constraints of a 12" fry pan.

I'd be a notch happier if it came with a lid, it would be nice to cover veggies to get them to steam, not a big deal, I just throw another lid from a frying pan over and it works fine.

I grilled some shrimp the other night and they were just as good as when I grill them on my outside gas grill.
