I wish that there had been more negative reviews for me to read when I decided to purchase mine, so I have decided to join in in the hopes I can help someone else decide whether or not to purchase one

Looking at others reviews and the positive reviews might change if they were given a large amount of meat to cook

I daresay most bad reviews were due to user error

I was relucant to buy this grill because of the bad reviews that claimed it was unsafe, but I have had my grill for over 3 months now and never had a moment's trouble with it.

I almost let the bad reviews scare me away

The reviews are great, it has an automatic shutoff on the timer, and it can be used as either a closed contact grill or the top can be laid out flat to provide twice the grilling capacity
