    Gigabyte AMD AM3+ / ATX / 4xDDR3/ HDMI/Realtek ALC892/ 2xPCIE/ 8xUSB 2.0 / 4xUSB3.1 Gen 1/ LAN/Motherboard - 78LMT-USB3 R2

    • My system was a bit more peppy than before (same memory/cpu/video).
    • Maybe I will move my RAIDED file data someplace else and just buy a cheap turnkey system for not much more than what I have already invested and write this off as my last build.
    • The only problem I've encountered so far is that the DVD disk that came with it has little support for the Windows Vista system, but seems to support the older XP system.
    • Since replacing it with this board my system has been stable and trouble free for a couple of months so far

    • I wanted the on-board video, usb3 and raid controller... and that I got... what I did not get is a reliable system with the chip it says it supports
    • Sometimes it reads as 6MB, overtimes, the system hangs and fails to boot unless i take out a stick of RAM
    • Make sure you have a 3-pin bank or molex to 3-pin if you're going to be doing any gaming and want to cool your system with your fans.
    • Not a huge deal, I just bought red LED fans and the whole system looks so sweet!
    • I could use the keyboard and mouse in the BIOS settings but after the system booted the keyboard and mouse quit working.
    • Keeping this MB as it is working well and system is cooler that before.

    • I'm running a FX-8300 8 core 3.3GHz Black Edition CPU, and NVIDIA GTX 1050 graphics card, I have a nice aftermarket cooler on the CPU, but I'm going to install a sealed liquid cooling system before I try any overclocking on the CPU
    • The lighting system is fantastic and granted not too many options (on, pulsing, or to the music modes.)
