It has a great sound, the finish is great and it is very comfortable to play and reach the high registers

To my surprise right out the the box it had a warm deep rich sound, the seals were tight and I could hit low C with little effort

I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 2 is because once that problem was fixed, it really has a nice mellow sound

I am a highschool symphonic and player who scored a 1 at the state festival looking for an affordable sax that had a good sound

I recommend trying a different mouthpiece one with a bigger opening and I use plastic coated reeds for a more vibrant sound.
