The case feels a bit more plastic than I expected from a soft-touch case
But after using it for a few hours now, the plastic feeling gradually turns into a comfortable touch feeling that's neither too sticky nor too slippery
Oh and the carbon design thats on the back top and bottom of the case is a nice touch.

A screen protector is what should protect the actual screen.
Although slim as it is, the edge of the case is about 1+mm above the phone screen so when I put the phone face down on a flat surface, the screen is still protected.
There is a slight lip at the front face of the phone that protects the screen when it's placed on a flat surface.

Ideally, it's inexpensive, light, slim, low profile, smooth but not slippery and access to all buttons is easy and unobstructed.

The other thing that I think is an important feature of a well designed case is the ability to minimize the slip of the phone when placed on a flat surface (center console or a slanted desk)
