Google WiFi Router by TP-Link - OnHub AC1900 (Managed by Google Wifi APP)

    • With an external hard drive connected, which itself is 3.0 compatible, I was only getting 3 mpbs/ second download, and even less on the upload
    • After completing installing a external hard drive and making it available to me outside of the network all parental controls quit working.
    • Simply put, if you want to use your own external hard drive for "cloud" purposes look elsewhere
    • I was hoping to plug in an external hard drive and use it for network storage, but that is not an option with this router.
    • Set it up again and so far everything is working normally with the hard drive attached and in use, and the parental controls are blocking what i need them
    • Other than spending over twice as much for a mesh system that I do not need, and very few have a usb 3.0 port to connect an external hard drive.
    • I also have 2 usb hard drives plugged into the router via USB and when router is restarted the path to USB hard drives are changed or switched for no reason
    • I tried removing the hard drive and changing settings but nothing worked.
