Even though the Internet is working just fine, you're watching a 4K Youtube video, even if you have more than double the bandwidth
This router was extremely easy to set up, and has been working perfect with many devices using it's WiFi, extremely fast, great distance also, I can walk to my back woods nearly 2 acres back from the
The 2.4 G band works just fine, but the 5G band keeps falling out.
The new work is working just fine and haven't noticed any problems.
I also know that it is the product that is faulty, as my backup router works perfectly fine at excellent speed (50x this product) when I use it in the exact same place
she sd we can trouble shoot but ts a known issue...waste of time
The setup was easy once I installed the app on my phone
But, setup is tricky if you want something other than the default settings, since changes need to be done in a certain order, which is not detailed in any instructions.
Easy setup, fast router for home wi-fi with strong signal.
I'm very satisfied with this device, coverage is absolutely amazing, stable, very easy setup
WiFi reception in the home is much stronger than with the previous D-Link 655 it replaced (D-Link 655 WiFi radio failed after 4 1/2 years of about 16 hours operation every day).
no frills router that will really hold up to modern modem speeds.
but I'm getting great wireless speeds throughout the very large
Speed is unbelievable as well; I'm connected twice as fast as my last wifi router with no change in my internet provider.
This is an excellent router however on its own because you get no technical issues, easy set-up and fast speeds
This AP is very easy to set up, works great and has great range as well as holds up clients' connections
Not the router, it was functioning perfectly, but the web based UI would only let me log into my router and then freeze as it was attempting to populate the page
But the one problem with it is that the range is rather limited
The 2G is the most reliable, but I cannot trust it to stay connected for a full day
The speedtest must be broken as I'm seeing 83/43 on 150/150 internet when using the OnHub's internal speed test
Bonus, app is super easy to use and very user friendly.
This router was extremely easy to set up and the app is so user-friendly.

Going to test USB NAS speed, and usefulness of the proprietary apps included.3
It might not have ALL the features or granular control that a power user or a network admin would probably expect, but it works amazingly well as the main router for your home
It has a lot of good features and a strong WiFi signal.
I love the feature where you can create a second WiFi zone just for guests
Not the router, it was functioning perfectly, but the web based UI would only let me log into my router and then freeze as it was attempting to populate the page
Other then that, it has a lot of cool features like setting up a separate Wifi node for guests, and the speed is amazing for WiFi.

Great router, easy to use, reliable, good performance and WiFi coverage.
Understanding how wireless works, it wasn't too surprising although I did have better performance on the 5ghz channel on my Asus router
Its performance is excellent, and has advantages that I don't get in my far more expensive ASUS router.
Excellent performance overall for all wi-fi equipment in my home
Tech support don’t know the product well enough to trouble shoot and correct issues.
Clearly this product has a hardware defect as I have seen many similar reviews when digging deeper on the internet.

Terrible product that worked on first set up but after three days, could not hold a wifi connection
This product looks nice and is as pictured but the quality of the connection is horrible
The connection was reasonably fast, and it supported multiple wireless devices well.
no more buffering, my 12 devices work great and my amazon echo linked smart home is awesome
I definately need these devices to work at all times, because I often travel with my job and am not home
If you just need fast wireless connection and won't be using LAN this is a great device but if you plan on using this as main router to wired/wireless devices I would be cautious.
I don't really test the max speed - since the devices we use are more limiting than the router's speed capabilities.
Amazing speed both wired and wireless, and disabling either the 2.4 or the 5 GHz WiFi will boost the other!Very happy with this product.
I've hard wired most internet capable devices in our home (a few smart TVs, 5 4MP IP cameras on direct to disk recording, 2 PCs, 3 laptops, printer, 3 tablets, 3 Roku's, Xbox one s, Vivint home security system and smart devices, and I'll stop there) but still there were likely up to 20-25 WiFi devices connected at once
I know it's not my internet because the one that has a hard wire works fine
Normally I would like to be hard wired but unfortunately with the layout of my new apartment that isn't possible unless I want a couple hundred foot wire running to my computer
I needed 3 extra ports for my wired devices like my VoIP, Storage device, and Home Security Camera system.
Signal strength is great, but it still does not cover a dead spot in our 2500 square foot
Went from 40mbps in a dead wifi spot in house to 250mbps.
This is the first router to handle everything without a problem and it has removed all of the dead spots in the house
I know it is a router problem because I can connect via ftp. using ethernet or my wifi from my Verizon hot spot - but not using the wifi from this router. !!
This blows away my Amped Router that had dead spots in my home and the downloads/ uploads would hang up without warning
I got this because I was having some intermittent problems when I used my computer to do video interviews in the room furthest from my router
If I could set the channel myself, I could solve the problem, but the router does not support that
Awesome router no problems so far great product.
The problem I experienced is that the router keep freezing/not accessible, had to manually powercyle the device for it to get back on the Internet and host my devices - I reseted the router to default just to make sure that everything was back to square one.

" I never had a single latency issue EVER, and 50mbps all day every day.

Simply put, if you want to use your own external hard drive for "cloud" purposes look elsewhere
Set it up again and so far everything is working normally with the hard drive attached and in use, and the parental controls are blocking what i need them
I tried removing the hard drive and changing settings but nothing worked.
After completing installing a external hard drive and making it available to me outside of the network all parental controls quit working.
Other than spending over twice as much for a mesh system that I do not need, and very few have a usb 3.0 port to connect an external hard drive.
In May 2018 the router began experiencing intermittent failures with wifi connectivity requiring hard resets to fix, and then repeated failures on LAN ports as well
she sd we can trouble shoot but ts a known issue...waste of time
The only thing that fixes it is a hard reset at the router itself.
After a hard reset (or power cycle), it will come back to life.
One reason I can tell is the fact that after a hard reset, it still won't let us use the 5G network after changing passwords and checking settings for the network.
