I only really notice the speeds being awesome when we're streaming and gaming, and especially when one of us is watching a vid online and another one of us is gaming on the XBox

I also know that it is the product that is faulty, as my backup router works perfectly fine at excellent speed (50x this product) when I use it in the exact same place

This is an excellent router however on its own because you get no technical issues, easy set-up and fast speeds

I got this router as a replacement for the Linksys EA6300 AC1200 Dual-Band Wireless Router since I just got gigabit fiber and wanted a wireless modem that could support gigabit speeds (or atleast 800Mbps +) wirelessly

I was getting good speeds with both previous routers and this one meets them and even ever so slightly exceeds them

WiFi reception in the home is much stronger than with the previous D-Link 655 it replaced (D-Link 655 WiFi radio failed after 4 1/2 years of about 16 hours operation every day).
