Google WiFi Router by TP-Link - OnHub AC1900 (Managed by Google WiFi APP)

    • This router is great, I love the app too.
    • The app that I downloaded is easy to use and it is very convenient to prioritize a device when it needs some extra speed.
    • this does a great job doing that, and the app is fantastic on Android.
    • Effective App.
    • The app prompts to place your phone over the top of OnHub, which emits a tone that establishes a secure connection
    • Wait for the excessive, cartoon-like animations in the On app
    • App is easy to use
    • But the downside is that the app you use to control it is not yet smart enough to handle problems very well.
    • The app is great i can see which devices are in use, how much they are using
    • Beautiful hardware- IOS and Android apps are truly delightful- Bonus points for packaging - felt like I was opening up a box of jewelry
    • While the app is fantastic, it makes some things like Port Forwarding and more advanced setups more tedious than a web interface to the device would be.
    • Mobile app lacks technical details and feedback sent about the mobile app goes into a black hole
    • the APP is basically rendered useless.
    • Mesh networking- Beautiful control app with useful
    • And the app is so easy to navigate!Got kids?
    • The App made everything easy to set up, and we now have internet throughout our home
    • The app is great and super simple to use
    • (IOS app is unavailable in App Store, India) was breeze and took 5 minutes
    • Super easy to set up and love the app.
    • The app and website admin could be better.
    • With the router you can also set up device priorities, e.g. if you have a VoIP phone and would rather give that more bandwidth priority, you can do it with a quick tap on the smart phone app
    • Also has a nice mobile app, which is a plus.
    • Since it does not have a web interface, the only way to set it up is through the smart phone app available through Google Play store or Apple App
    • Also, the app is not very user friendly
    • The mobile app is very good.
    • Great settings and the app is very convenient
    • The app makes it very easy to set-up, but the trade-off is that it lacks many of the technical options found in other high-end routers...but for 95% of the population, those features aren't necessary
    • Just ordered this router and I was able to set it up very quickly and the app was very easy to use
    • Handy phone app too.
    • The app on the phone works great
    • The only problem I had was that in the innital set up the onhub app took a while to find the router to pair up but other than that I can't recommend this router enough.
    • The set up was also complicated, specially if you have an iPhone, was told by their customer service that their app doesn't work too well with iPhone.
    • Easy setup and a smartphone app to access router to make changes or monitor.
    • The app for my iPhone works great for monitoring my kids devices
    • Love the app that controls this along with the look of the router
    • Love the mobile app
    • I like it, but they need a better app and web interface for desktop
    • Love the app that comes with it
    • Only negative: The app wasn't as slick as expected.
    • The needed app for the device is only available in US and Canada
    • However, the configuration is a nightmare -- most of the time not working, the app is buggy, the lone ethernet port on it is frustrating, and there are many features in the device that just aren't enabled yet (zigbee/bluetooth)I ended up unplugging it and going back to my old router for now
    • and I really like the App.
    • The range is great, I seem to get more responsiveness from multiple devices, and the app is very very cool.
    • MAX traffic (pending on ISP bandwidth plan.- High security with built-in software to control who gets to see, and most importantly not see your network- Great app features: let's you turn on/off devices and allocate
    • Like OnHub, the app is pretty, and it is intuitively functional
    • I'll disconnect the modem for minutes and it's still say I'm connected even when I refresh the app over and over again
    • I can use the app to set the brightness of the colored LED glow
    • It's a well made app and easy to use with all of the options that I needed.
    • It was a simple set up, took me about 15 minutes to set up, and the app is very user friendly
    • Only negative: The app wasn't as slick as expected.
    • , the app is pretty simplistic and easy to live without
    • no defined time or way to know when the upgrade was done.5. once coming back the app keeps putting up a Error: Registration Token Failure.
    • so I only need one port love the app and love the speeds I am seeing on WiFi
    • The onhub app itself would open and then fail, saying I had no wifi connection - even though the tablet showed I was connected
    • Nice app for checking your network from your cell and having the ability to kick a device or ip remotely is kind of neat.
    • I love the android app with the devices graph, data throughput stats etc
    • However, APP does NOT work with IOS-9 Beta
    • The app is fully baked, fantastic, and genuinely useful
    • For the brief time I had the OnHub up and running, I enjoyed the app.
    • once finding the right app the sound to connect only works some of the time
    • Perhaps the new Google WiFi strategy is to encourage expansion of the network with purchase of additional devices for coverage (3 pucks would likely be required).Cannot integrate US OnHub and UK Google WiFi mesh unless the Google WiFi acts as the source (i.e. plugged into the router). The perfect router for most with intuitive app/ easy set up and an immediate improvement on most ISP bundled routers.
    • Mobile app becomes severely limited once you turn off cloud services in the interest of privacy
    • Easiest setup in the world, automatic updates, and a very useful app that saves your router to your Google
    • The app is pretty cool as it shows the entire system, signal strength, how many users are connected and what their usage is etc.
    • The app is easy to use.
    • Though it does connect with Google WiFi, a very cool app
    • The app only works while connected to the network
    • Super easy to set up and the app is nice.
    • Oddly enough even when the damn thing is connected to the internet, the app still tells me its not, and nothing works.
    • Awesome App to setup and monitor the router
    • I like the fact I can just go the app on my phone and see how things are going when I have an issue or want to see who is connected to it.
    • the speeds are great, and the android app to manage it is so much easier than having to remote in like with an old router.
    • The mobile app works great for managing devices, QOS groups, and basic configuration.
    • tether app is also very clean and easy to use (much easier than the Asus one).-The Antenna concept where they are on
    • The app is great for set up.
    • The app is really useful, and I love that if I move into a bigger space i will be able to purchase the Google wifi points to extend.
    • I *greatly* prefer the smartphone/tablet app to a web interface
    • Also love the Google Wifi app.
    • The app is very limited and no way to get the router from a desktop OS, *must* have the mobile device app
    • It is a fast router and their mobile app is useful to see if my internet ISP goes offline wherever I go
    • App is absolutely useless when the internet connection is down
    • I like that I can open the app anywhere and see what devices are connected, if there are any issues, and so on.
    • Super easy to setup and I loved the android app
    • The app is easy to use, and the industrial design is much less industrial than the Netters, for example
    • Previously had Linksys and loved the iOS apps with parental controls, reboot capable from anywhere I was
    • The app is easy to use for router management
    • It appears there's an app that works on iOS 7 or higher for this as well, though I have not seen it or tried it
    • I especially love the google wifi app
    • The tether app doesn't work with this model and that was a bummer.
    • The app also is useful after you set it up since it shows network status and whats connected.
    • Love the app for managing the device
    • Only downside is the app, which is terminally stuck on "checking for updates"
    • Had a little trouble downloading the app onto my phone..... but after that it was easy
    • The app and onhub do really play well together
    • App is great as it regularity checks network and sends you emails of status
    • (Keep in mind, I'm comparing that to a $30 router.)The app doesn't come with a ton of customization options, but its super easy to use
    • The thing is a pain to configure, because the app is so buggy
    • The Android app is friendly and, while not providing too many details on the router's operation upfront, it manages to keep me informed about things that I really care such as bandwidth utilization and who's connected to the router at any given time
    • NitroQAM technology, stable, strong consistent signal, fast and easy setup, router more suitable for very large homes or business with many devices, tether app very resourceful, customer service top notch, well made, excellent 2 year warranty, 24/7 tech support,CONS
    • The iPhone app never worked for set-up, though it can be used to control the device, once it is set-up
    • with a handy app, that I used maybe twice since everything is working so well.
    • I've been highly impressed with the stability of the connection, strength / distance of the connection (all the way out to the street in front of my house), and how easy the app makes setup and management
    • The Android app makes it dead simple to share your WiFi password, perform speed tests on your internet connection, see how much bandwidth devices on your network are using, and updated your typical settings you see in a WiFi router
    • Has a good iOS app for configuring the router
    • During the setup the Skybell app refused OnHub's SSIDs because OnHub saw the Note 3 as a 5GHz, N device
    • false apps on play store3
    • I love the app because I can check on my network from anywhere!
    • The mobile app it pairs with is kinda cool
    • The app makes setup a breeze
    • The free Tether app provides quick and easy access to monitor the network and make changes in the configuration of the guest network, parental controls, or even reset it it to factory defaults.
    • Love, Love, Love the user interface app.
    • Overall I am happy with this router , it offers up great performance , it manages channels automatically and it's got a nice app to go along with it
    • Great router and the app is very useful
    • The app is a bit limiting, especially if you like defining your DHCP range, or any other advanced feature.
    • App has cool parental features (like pausing a selected group of devices) that are nice, but I don't really
    • Another great feature is that the app alerts you when it loses connectivity.
    • I went from a single band to this triple band as well as from a 10Mbit to 100Mbit service
    • I wanted something that was going to give me a little more directional boost in wifi throughout my house as well as give me better security than many of the basic routers out there
    • and you will have a new appreciation for how broken an
    • I now have service on the third floor as well as in the garage on the first floor all with this single router
    • As typical with devices like these, I upgrade the firmware to make sure I have the latest features, it is running as good as it can, etc
    • Good wifie connection is on all 3 inside levels of my house as well as in my back yard and front yard
    • no more need to screw in the antennas and I love it.-The router is also fairly light and not as massive as my Asus, so i love this as
    • Not as fast as I'd
