The one fatal flaw is the handle
-
the handle is very loose.
-
: 1) the handle gets super hot if one heats it on a large stove eye, and 2) it leaks from the hinged lid if one pours at too steep an angle
-
I love it because when, two months later, the handle came loose and couldn't be repaired, the company immediately sent another kettle
-
After few days the handle was loose and came off
-
Great handle.
-
PROS:- holds a lot of water- looks / feels expensive- improved my pour over game tenfold- comfortable handle- holds water temp
-
It feels sturdy, the handle doesn’t get hot, they provided a nice silicon piece to grip onto the lid, and the silicon wrap is a nice touch
-
The handle getting loose is a possibility

While I like the appearance of my Coffee Gator kettle and its built-in thermometer, I dislike that the handle gets a little too hot to hold, especially near the middle or top of the handle

And, the handle gets hotter than other kettles, but not really hot enough to cause a burn.

I love the handle and the look of the gooseneck.
-
The gauge is easy to read, the kettle as a whole looks nice sitting on my stove, and the handle is comfortable when pouring
-
Also the handle gets hot, I don't know why some reviewers said that the handle doesn't get hot
-
The handle gets too hot to pour with it
-
My only complaint is that the handle gets too hot to hold if you heat up more than 24 ounces of water

The handle stays cool.
-
When dealing with extremely hot water the handle should not be an issue
-
but I did find that the handle is still hot to the touch
-
The handle never gets too hot, and it is easy to see when it's hit boiling temperature
-
Further, the handle becomes too hot to touch if you allow the kettle to become hot enough for water to reach a true boiling point, further compromising the safety of this kettle
